Overview
Ensure safe predictive reliability of all TMP manufacturing facilities, associated infrastructure and manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures TDW HSE guidelines and industry standards (lock‑out/tag‑out, arc flash, fall protection, etc.) procedures are followed while performing maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities

Acts quickly on all safety issues and improvements when requested

On‑time closure of HSE CAPA’s

Ensures quality control making sure cleaning, upkeep and safety standards are maintained

Plans and directs the activities of all maintenance personnel in performing preventive/predictive maintenance and repairs on building, equipment and machinery for all locations in order to ensure safe, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment

Oversees the various maintenance, facility and external support personnel in the maintenance and repair, assuring compliance to existing codes and specifications

Oversees maintenance and facilities goal setting, activity scheduling, work performance and performance management to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff performance management

Compiles and maintains documentation of maintenance costs by machine groups, maintenance type, etc. and produces monthly maintenance reports; MTTR and MTBF for constraints

Develops the facilities budget and ensures adherence to the approved budget

Establishes and proposes adequate facilities & maintenance contracts with external contractors

Oversees and supports all internal moves between facilities and within facilities

Perform facility plant equipment obsolescent planning, budgeting and replacement

Ensures that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed

Selects, evaluates, motivates and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce necessary to meet company objectives, as well as deal with any disciplinary issues that may come up, while complying with local employment guidelines

Continuously improves the global and preventive maintenance plans with the feedback from the floor and the breakdowns

Develops and follows metrics to improve the Maintenance department efficiency and cost

Participates in the continuous improvement activities

Directly manages a team of 4 CNC Techs, 6 maintenance personnel, 4 facilities personnel and 1 documentation administrator on multiple shifts and coordinates the work performed by contractors at TMP, ITC, RWB, PPD, and Test Loop facilities

Plans, supervises, and controls the team’s activities in order to achieve yearly objectives

Oversees maintenance and facilities goal setting, activity scheduling, work performance and performance management to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction and effective staff performance management

Assigns workload and serves as technical advisor for resolution of complex issues

Designs and implements a succession plan to increase the availability of experienced and capable employees that are prepared to assume departmental roles as they become available

Reports to the Manager Manufacturing Engineering

Directly manages a team of CNC Techs, and maintenance personnel, on multiple shifts and coordinates the work performed by contractors

Works in close collaboration with the managers at multiple facilities

Answers internal client requests in the respect of the procedures while taking into consideration the urgency

Based on the resources available, informs the internal client of the deadline and follows up

Experience

Minimum 5 to 6 years of work/leadership in a manufacturing environment

Experience in a lean manufacturing and continuous improvement environment

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Ability to effectively develop people and implement change

Effective communication skills with all levels

Must look at a lot of different information and make decisions based on needs and budget concerns

Multi‑Million dollar annual spend, Site size: +/- 466 persons, workshop of 75k sq ft.

Follows the HSE policy by applying the instructions and procedures of the HSE manual, by participating actively in the Hazards and Near‑miss Incident Identification and by behaving safety
