Job Description
The Ultrasound Systems Engineer will play a critical role in creating next generation ultrasound products that help save lives worldwide.
Your Role
Apply acoustic wave propagation and signal processing theory to design and specify new imaging algorithms and imaging sub-systems.
Coordinate the design, development, and integration of new ultrasound systems and transducers, tuning diagnostic ultrasound systems for optimum image quality on a range of transducers and imaging features.
Lead the complete development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities, including development plans, algorithm design, integration strategy, and SW implementation.
Collaborate with Research, Marketing, and Product Management to define new feature requirements to meet specific clinical applications and market needs.
Develop and participate in medical ultrasound feasibility and research projects to support research and development.
You're The Right Fit If
Have a minimum of 1+ years of experience with signal/image processing, filter design, and linear
onlinear acoustic wave propagation.
Have proven experience in ultrasound imaging, beamforming, acquisition design, acoustic wave propagation theory, and clinical laboratory experience.
Can collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Research, Marketing, and Product Management.
Have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering. Master's desired.
Can successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
Pay & Benefits
Pay range in Bothell, WA: $82,000 - $131,000. Base pay may vary within the posted range based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, and internal equity.
Other compensation may include annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives. Employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits program that includes generous PTO, 401(k) up to 7% match, HSA with company contribution, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more.
