**Overview**
**Position Summary:** ABM Industries is seeking an Electrician to join our first shift team. The Electrician is responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks safely, including installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, testing, repairing and installation in large commercial projects.

**Responsibilities**

· Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical systems, circuits and equipment.
· Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
· Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
· Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
· Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
· Reads, interprets, and works from diagrams, blueprints, sketches, repair manuals, and schematics.
· Possesses knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in electrical trade.
· Responsible for electrical reliability, compliance, PM optimization, audits, and contractor coordinator.
· Must be safety conscious and work safely within a team-oriented environment.
· Autonomy: Fully independent, leads complex electrical projects, designs systems, supervises teams, and manages large-scale repairs
· Advanced skills in: Diagnosing complex electrical issues, performing high-voltage work, and leading electrical projects.
· Designing electrical systems and managing installations.
· Supervising electrical teams and providing training, ability to work safely from list as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

· High School Diploma / GED
· 12+ years of commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience
· Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
· Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
· Skills in using hand and power tools.
· Must be authorized to work in the US
