Election Workers (Seasonal) As a member of the Voter Information team, you will respond to constituent inquiries accurately, efficiently, and professionally. You will work closely with the STAR Call Center to ensure consistent messaging for customers contacting the Maricopa County Recorder's Office. These are temporary positions supporting the department before, during, and after the election cycle. Working more than 40 hours a week during peak periods may be required. This cross-functional position will also support divisional operations within early voting (Signature Verification, Curing, etc.). The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be able to learn new tasks quickly. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience within the organization and contribute to various initiatives.
The Maricopa County Recorder's Office (MCRO) is responsible for maintaining the Maricopa County voter registration records and for administering over elections in partnership with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The MCRO also maintains the permanent public record of over 50 million documents dating back to 1871, including deeds, plat maps, and a variety of other important documents. Our office serves over 2.5 million registered voters as well as 4.4 million residents across Maricopa County. The MCRO offers a friendly, welcoming, and collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and develop new skills.

We Require
Data entry and basic computer
avigation experience
Ability to type at least 35 WPM accurately
Experience researching and gathering information
A high school diploma or GED
A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
Other Requirements
Must be registered, or eligible to register, to vote in Arizona by the time of hire
Must be able to pass applicable background screening
Must be able to work the full work assignment, including extensive irregular hours and shifts, based on the department's needs
Must have a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire

1 or more years of office, customer service, computer, or election-related experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Job Contributions
Respond to constituent inquiries via email, mail, and phone.
Research and resolve voter-related questions using IT systems and databases
Draft standardized responses and form letters as needed
Collaborate with Community Relations, Public Information, Government Relations, and subject matter experts
Assist with community outreach activities
Additional election-related duties as needed
Working Conditions
Full-time/Temporary/Overtime hours are mandatory during the election cycle
Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring upper extremity repetitive motion
Requires the ability to review small font on hard copy or computer screen, as well as the ability to view a computer screen for an extended period
Requires the ability to lift floor-to-shoulder and shoulder-to-waist a minimum of 25 pounds and carry for 100 feet, as well as the ability to push/pull a minimum of up to 10 pounds for 200 feet
