
Design Researcher II - Health

Overview:
Participates in the design and execution of research studies, collaborates with teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data under general supervision, and solves problems when encountered. Supports the development of research outputs such as deliverables, presentations, and publications, while assisting in communicating findings across peer-reviewed and mainstream platforms. Anticipates job expectations and contributes to the development and distribution of research resources for firmwide use. Responsibilities:
Participates in designing and conducting research studies/programs
Collaborates with research and design teams to collect and analyze data with oversight
Participates inthe development of research collateralfor deliverables, presentations, workshops, business development, etc.
Participates in the communication of research findings in both peer-reviewed forums andmainstreammedia with oversight
Participates in development and delivery of research resourcesto design teams through various firmwide platforms
Participates in submission and maintenance of Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols as needed
Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues and coordination with other disciplines
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a design, technology, or social sciences field preferred
Typically 4+ years of recent relevant experience in research
Related accreditation preferred
Basic knowledge in the following skills preferred: research methodology, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, physical and digital prototyping, academic and industry writing
Proficiency in Adobe Suite preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred
Familiarity in statistical software packages preferred
Strong graphic, visualization and representation skills to communicate design ideas
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time required
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Ability to problem solve and apply innovative solutions
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment
Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
Travel may be required
Base Salary Range: $77K - $92K annually - Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC locations only
