Mechanical Engineering Intern (Hardware & Optics)
Do you enjoy working with precision hardware and seeing how mechanical design directly impacts product performance? As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at FARO Creaform, you will contribute to the development of next‑generation metrology hardware, including components used in FARO laser tracking systems. You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, gaining hands‑on exposure to mechanical design, analysis, and real product development in a collaborative environment.
This internship is ideal for students who are curious, detail‑oriented, and motivated to learn through concrete engineering work. You will develop practical skills, understand industry processes, and actively contribute to engineering projects with real impact.

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Basic experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks.
Interest in precision hardware, data, and mechanical performance.
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and measurements.
Curiosity, organization, and a willingness to learn in a team environment.
