Field Service Technician - Glenbrook Hospital & Condell Medical Center

Overview
Daniels Health is hiring a
Field Service Technician
to support hospitals with critical medical waste services. This is an on‑site, hands‑on role that involves moving, lifting, and maintaining medical waste containers in clinical areas. Shift times are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with location assignments at Condell Medical Center (Tuesday, Thursday) and Glenbrook Hospital (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The position requires a company‑provided smartphone for task management and communication.
Responsibilities
Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entry into procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lift containers up to 50 lb and push/pull carts up to 300 lb throughout the day.
Maintain inventory of containers, ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
Use a company‑provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and energetic in an active environment.
Personal transportation to both work sites.
Strong team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Attention to detail, especially regarding paperwork and procedures.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between assigned locations.
Can‑do attitude and previous experience in a labor‑intensive or logistics role.
