Zing Recruiting is supporting growth within a partnered organization and is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to support expansion efforts across the Louisville, KY and Georgetown, KY markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-energy professional with a passion for staffing, relationship-building, and market expansion.
Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new business development, expanding client relationships, and increasing market share. This role requires a strategic, hands-on approach to sales, including prospecting, client engagement, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver customized workforce solutions.
Pay
Pay: $60,000 – $75,000 + Commission (Based on Experience)
Shift
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Environment
Work Environment: Office-based with 60–70% field time
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their workforce needs and delivering tailored solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiting and operations teams to ensure successful service delivery
Conduct client presentations and sales meetings to promote service offerings
Negotiate pricing while maintaining profitability targets
Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics
Participate in community engagement and networking events to promote brand presence
Utilize consultative sales techniques to align client needs with staffing solutions
All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Proven experience in staffing industry sales or business development
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel locally for client visits
