Tria Federal is seeking a Production Supervisor.
This role is 100% on-site.
This role is Contingent Upon Contract Award.
Responsibilities
Provide management and oversight of material production (kitting) operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant execution of production requirements in support of mission objectives.
Supervise and manage production personnel, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and ensuring production goals, schedules, and quality standards are met.
Oversee daily production activities, including material receiving, pull, kitting, labeling, inventory coordination, and warehousing processes that support efficient production operations.
Apply knowledge of warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods to optimize production flow, workspace organization, and material staging.
Ensure production methods, procedures, and material handling techniques are executed in accordance with program requirements, work instructions, and safety standards.
Coordinate sustainment and preservation activities associated with kitted material to maintain items in a ready-for-issue condition.
Identify, investigate, and resolve production discrepancies, shortages, overages, or errors in coordination with inventory, sustainment, and logistics teams.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and automated databases to track production status, material movements, and workflow performance.
Prepare reports, schedules, metrics, and production documentation using Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat to support management review and government reporting.
Coordinate with Government representatives and internal functional leads to ensure production requirements and priorities are understood and met.
Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Navy, NMRLC, safety, and operational requirements during all production activities.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management in support of production and operational objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing production (kitting) operations and supervising personnel.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience supervising at least ten (10) personnel performing similar or related work under contract.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in production environments that include material kitting operations, general supply activities, receiving, inventory management, and warehousing.
Knowledge of overall warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods that support efficient production operations.
Knowledge of supply functions, production operations, program requirements, and established work methods.
Knowledge of production methods, procedures, material handling techniques, and activities such as material receiving, kitting (production), sustainment, and preservation.
Knowledge of programs utilized in providing material and logistics support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge and experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills in a production environment.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
