Process Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that logistics processes within the operation are designed, monitored, and continuously improved to achieve stable, efficient, and cost-effective performance. The role acts as the key process expert for the site, supporting the organization in maintaining high operational standards through structured analysis of process performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Analyze and continuously improve logistics processes across warehouse operations to ensure stable, efficient, and cost-effective performance.
Monitor operational productivity and evaluate process performance using structured analytical methods.
Perform process time evaluations using MTM methodology and support the establishment of productivity standards.
Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives to improve operational performance and resource utilization.
Prepare operational analyses, reports, and performance evaluations to support data-driven decision making.
Support adjustments of warehouse layouts, material flows, and operational workflows in cooperation with operations and engineering teams.
Collaborate with the customer logistics department to ensure operational processes align with customer requirements.
Contribute to the implementation of new operational requirements, projects, or process changes within the operation.
Promote a structured continuous improvement culture by applying lean principles and supporting initiatives such as 5S and process standardization.
Provide technical guidance and process expertise to operational teams and support the development of junior process engineering resources where applicable.
Qualifications
3-5 Professional experience in logistics operations, warehouse engineering, industrial engineering, or process engineering within logistics, manufacturing, or automotive environments.
Experience in analyzing operational processes, monitoring productivity, and identifying opportunities for process optimization and performance improvement.
Practical experience with productivity measurement and process evaluation methods such as MTM or similar industrial engineering methodologies. MTM certification is considered an advantage and can be supported by the company.
Understanding productivity measurement and operational efficiency evaluation.
Knowledge of continuous improvement principles such as Lean thinking and tools like 5S.
Good communication and collaboration skills when working with operational teams, engineering functions, and the customer logistics department.
Strong MS Excel skills and ability to work with operational data and reporting.
