Job Title
Bridge Inspection Team Leader – AECOM, Hunt Valley, MD
Responsibilities
Lead structural inspections of bridges and ancillary structures.
Perform condition inspections of highway or other structures in diverse environments, including confined spaces and at height.
Conduct design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection assignments for highway bridges and ancillary structures.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and visual aids.
Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior‑level team member.
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS plus at least 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Records review.
U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
Certified as a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in Maryland or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hiring.
Preferred Requirements
NHI Certification for Bridge and/or Ancillary Structure Inspections (NHI Courses 130055, 130078, and 130087).
Professional Engineer license.
Fundamental understanding of structural engineering principles, including steel and concrete design.

Compensation
USD 100,000 – USD 130,000 annually, based on individual qualifications and experience.
