Role Summary

As a 1st Shift Production Supervisor , you’ll guide a small production team, support hands‑on manufacturing tasks, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and high‑quality work environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to step into leadership or grow their career in industrial operations.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support production employees by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and coaching team members.
Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods.
Use computer systems, spreadsheets, and production software to track daily output and maintain accurate records.
Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing company policies and OSHA standards.
Partner with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to troubleshoot issues and keep production running smoothly.
Assist with hands‑on production tasks as needed to support team goals.
What You Bring
Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred; company can assist with training).
Comfortable using computers, email, and basic spreadsheets.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead, motivate, and problem‑solve.
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Preferred Experience
Background in food manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
Previous experience supervising or leading a team.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
