Job Duties And Responsibilities

To ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are following company and

brand standards for compliance and safety

Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs o brand standards including equipment, heating

and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing

Completes preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public space

Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are performed according to brand standards and health department regulations

Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.

Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs by maintaining a room's maintenance strategy and scheduling preventive maintenance

Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns

Educated hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions

Acts as Manager on Duty when required

Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

Education And Experience

Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred

Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred

In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to multi-task

Team player

Ability to exceed expectations of guests
