
Diesel Mechanic

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a B Level Diesel Mechanic who, under supervision, will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles.
Responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance services
Inspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles and equipment
Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
Performs service calls
Conducts safety checks on vehicles
Assists Lead Mechanics as needed
Reviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
Experience, Education, Certification
Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
Valid driver license.
Physical Requirements
Handle tools, equipment, fine motor skills
Reach with hands and arms
Climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet
Occasionally must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
