Overview
The Design Manager will lead the development of client-facing and internal communications with a strong focus on information design —translating complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives. This role combines strategic thinking, branding, and execution to structure content, establish visual hierarchy, and craft presentation frameworks that enhance understanding and impact. Responsibilities include creating and guiding visually engaging solutions across presentations, annual and sustainability reports, pitch decks, logo systems, event signage, and integrated, on-brand campaign communications .
Responsibilities
Understand and translate client vision and informational data into presentation slides, reports and other deliverables
Guide and review designers’ work to ensure design best practices, brand guidelines, technical accuracy and quality standards are being met
Learn our proprietary methodologies and master our internal processes, templates, and quality standard operating procedures
Collaborate with client and Corbin teams to understand project scope, audience, intended message and timeline expectations
Lead designer on client engagements such as Investor Day presentations and attend client kickoff calls, working sessions and internal meetings as needed
Gather needed project resources (brand guidelines, templates, image libraries, fonts, reference materials, etc.) at the start of every engagement
Brainstorm, create, elevate, and revise project deliverables based on collaborative feedback process with internal team and client
Mentor junior level designers and interns to maintain best-in-class work and inspire creativity
Stay abreast of industry design and data visualization trends
Provide support to the Design Director, Creative Director, and Marketing as needed
Enter billable project time as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required, major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred
Minimum of 8 years of corporate or related work experience highly preferred
Excellent proficiency in Adobe suite and PowerPoint (proficiency in MS Word and Excel preferred)
Outstanding analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Organized with attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team
Ability to manage several projects and timelines at once
