About The Role
The Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the accurate delivery and storage of products. The Material Handler will utilize sit down hilo. Attention to detail required. Ultimately, the success of the Material Handler is measured by low machine downtime.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience in material handling or warehouse positions.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Familiarity with bar code scanning technology.
Experience in sit-down hilo operation of more than one year.
Responsibilities
Review production schedule for work area and deliver supplies and packaging on time.
Remove completed parts and store in the correct warehouse location.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow for the shift.
Shift Information
2nd shift: 2:40 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
3rd shift: 10:40 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Overtime is required for this position and typically 4 hours before or 4 hours after your regular shift if needed.
