International Accounting Supervisor/Manager

Hanna Instruments, an industry leader in laboratory instrumentation for analytical testing, is looking for a talented International Accounting Supervisor/Manager to join our International Accounting team in our Woonsocket, RI office. The International Accounting Supervisor/Manager will be responsible for overseeing weekly, monthly and yearly financial reporting for all our international entities. The ideal candidate for this position should have 5+ years of public accounting experience and a college degree in accounting.
Responsibilities of the International Accounting Supervisor/Manager
Review annual international financial packages.
Review monthly uploads to EPM system including communicating with international entities to reconcile data as needed.
Help develop, improve and manage EPM reporting.
Prepare global consolidated financial statements.
Review budgets/forecasts of international entities, evaluate results, improve process.
Work closely with the Manager to help develop and administer financial review/auditing processes.
Work with various legal entities to help identify and implement improvements regarding reporting, controls, and general accounting processes.
Ad Hoc projects as required.
Qualifications & Skills required for the International Accounting Supervisor/Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
7+ years of Public accounting experience
CPA or pursuit of credentials is highly preferred
Fundamental knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements
Experience with Planful or similar EPM system a plus
Ability work on‑site in our Woonsocket, RI office.
