Job Summary
The Intermediate Teacher is responsible for creating a structured, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment for students in the intermediate grades. This role emphasizes strong instruction, positive classroom management, and collaboration with colleagues, families, and parish staff.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with diocesan and state curriculum.
Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom culture.
Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
Assess student learning and communicate progress regularly with families.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, administration, and support staff.
Participate in school events, professional development, and faculty meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required).
Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain one).
Previous intermediate‑level teaching experience preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a faith‑based educational setting.

Commitment to the spiritual, academic, and social development of students.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the School Principal.
