**Overview**
Students will be responsible for the assisting with the veterinary care of animals being housed in the Large Animal Teaching Hospital, including but not limited to:
+ Feeding
+ Administering treatments
+ Daily health checks
+ Collecting biomedical samples
+ Animal restraining
+ Restocking commonly used supplies
**Responsibilities**
+ Assisting with treatments of animals admitted to the Large Animal Teaching Hospital, Food Animal Service, including but not limited to subcutaneous, intravenous, and intramuscular injections, hanging IV Fluids, etc.
+ Clean working/handling facilities between animals
+ Following biosecurity protocols while moving animals throughout the facilities
+ Properly labeling and storing biomedical samples
+ Reporting all abnormal findings and observations to the senior clinician and residents assigned to the service
+ Restocking commonly used supplies
