Construction Safety Facilitator

The purpose of this position is to monitor constructionprojects for clients, with direct accountability for project safety on datacenter projects. Join our team onsite in Moncks Corner, SC! We are willing toprovide relocation assistance for the right candidate.
**Whatyou'll do**
● Routinely monitor the GC's EHS performance toensure that the GC is in compliance with their stated practices and procedures,regulatory requirements and any additional owner expectations/deliverables thatmay have been identified in the contract of work EHS Schedule
● Interface and support the construction managementteam at site by delivering current data on GC EHS performance, includingtrending, incident management, EHS metrics and other key information thatenable DC construction management to make informed timely decisions
● Participate in communication methods, such assafety meetings and notices to ensure relevant EHS information is communicatedacross the site by GC's and that DC management is included
● Ensure a daily walkabout/safety tour is conductedwith the GC management, representative and the owner's representative (PM ordelegate), as practicable. PM management (not delegate) should still target aweekly walkabout/inspection at a minimum
● Participate in a daily site tour with the GCsafety rep
● Act as a coach and advisor to the safetycommittee
● Support the business in the conduct of risk andhazard assessments
● Participate in Significant Incidentinvestigations and Significant Potential Event (SPE)
● When a non-compliance by a GC or their subs isobserved, immediately bring the issue to the attention of the GC, while alsoensuring the owner's management rep/PM is informed
● Ensure KPIs, leading and lagging indicators andEHS data submitted by the GC is accurate, timely, and complete
● Conduct the monthly GC EHS evaluation
● Issue the weekly EHS summary
● Oversee execution of the Boots on the Groundprogram
● Participate in progress and schedule meetingswhere EHS is impacted
● Assist in design reviews throughout the LifeCycle; i.e. - planning, design, permitting, construction, Cx, and handover tooperations
● Support the development of the DCCEHSP (DataCenter Construction EHS Plan)
● Other duties as assigned.
**Whatyou'll need**
● Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering,Construction Management, or related field. In lieu of a degree, experience willbe considered.
● Minimum four or more years' constructionadministration, architecture, engineering or similar experience.
● Previous data center construction experience ispreferred.
● Intermediate skills with Google Suite. Ability toread and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in project and safetysoftware and construction practices.
● Familiarity with construction best practices,general building codes, and various building types and systems. Passion forbeing detail oriented and highly organized.
