Physical Requirements
Must be physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, crawling, climbing, reaching, lifting up to 100 pounds or more, and performing repetitive motions with hands and arms in tight spaces.
Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on company‑owned equipment including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to OEM, DOT, KNX, and other specifications.
Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor or complex repairs on all equipment.
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components such as refrigerated units, diesel engines, transmissions, axles, and other systems.
Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.
Execute offsite repairs for roadside breakdowns as directed by leadership.
May be required to test drive equipment if certified.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Proactively assist teammates to meet organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Entry‑level knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance preferred.
Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
Ability to read and understand repair manuals, fill tags, and process repair orders.
Proficiency with diagnostic software used on tractors and trailers.
Excellent computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent training/experience.
Valid driver's license.
Pay Range
$21.75 – $29.68 per hour.
