Job Summary
Under general direction, coordinates placement, onboarding, education, and management activities for nursing/clinical support staff, students, and/or other personnel. Functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the health care system and demonstrates partnership, collaboration, and accountability. This role is critical to the success of the program, managing several activities at a time. Responsible for coordinating and relationship building with managers and clinical departments across the health system for clinical staff/students and nursing/clinical support staff education related to programmatic activities.

Essential Functions

Coordinates the process of onboarding new hire nursing
ursing support staff, and/or nursing
ursing support students. Ensures that new team members documentation is complete.

Assists department with materials for onboarding and classroom management including scheduling, set up, tear down and paperwork management.

Uses a variety of communication tools to communicate with new and current team members, including students, to provide a seamless process for onboarding and class attendance. Communicates with managers and the education/student placement teams to support department needs.

Collects and reports on department data including attendance statistics, student placements, and evaluation data compilation. Tracks information and data pertinent to the programs such as Workday, ACEMAPP, CBISA and Healthstream.

Serves as Corewell Health East region subject matter expert and Learning Partner for Workday to create and maintain courses, sessions and manage assignments for staff. Manage attendance in Workday for completion of courses assigned.

Demonstrates advanced skills in Microsoft Office utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms, Outlook, Word Mail Merge, pivot tables and macros. Serves as subject matter expert to the education team for questions and issues regarding these applications.

Manages payroll and coordinates purchasing of office and clinical supplies for the department.

Qualifications
Required

Associate's Degree or 4 years of equivalent years of experience.

1 year of relevant professional experience in program management or coordination, staffing or scheduling, or related experiences.
