Senior Production Planner
Responsibilities
Monitor, download & review EDI daily from all Customers.
Correct any IDOC errors from EDI. Correct any KUEM issues as well.
Run MRP for updating SAP.
Cycle counts KAUFs & WIP parts on a weekly basis to maintain proper inventory levels.
Work closely with Customer as a Customer Service Representative to ensure all Customer relevant issues are solved. Expectations are 24/7 availability by cell phone to answer calls during off shifts.
Issues ‘Open Orders List’ to production & maintains SAP graphical planning table daily.
Communicates potential delivery discrepancies with Planning Supervisor to meet Customer requirements, balancing the needs of set-up, inventory targets, & personnel availability.
Ensures together with warehouse Supervisor that all Customer requirements are met on a daily basis.
Plans sample requests and bank builds as required.
Maintains MM30 on a daily basis.
Calculates optimal lot sizes on a quarterly basis.
Plans service part requirements on a daily basis.
Maintains obsolescence levels on non-moving parts balancing of multiple cavity tools (e.g. L-R, LHD, RHD, etc.).
Non-moving finished parts (FGs) in 3030.
Maintains SAP Master Data on a daily basis.
Non-moving 999s inventory.
Completes any other tasks as deemed necessary by the company.
Qualifications
5+ years production planning experience, preferably in Automotive Industry.
Excellent computer skills
SAP
Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant equivalent experience
