FIELD OPERATOR

In accordance with established policies and practices, operates and controls water and wastewater distribution and collection line equipment. Neutralizes water for human consumption and/or operates and controls equipment to collect and transport harmful domestic and industrial pollution to sewage treatment plants. Under guidance, performs installation, maintenance, and operations of water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Required to qualify for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) certifications for water and wastewater treatment operations and distribution, collection requirements.
This position is advertised as a Field Operator. Applicants may be qualified for a higher level Operator and will be considered for the appropriate level of Operator based on the level of experience, education and training, as well as knowledge, skills and abilities.
