Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Data & System Management
Process and manage large volumes of operational data with accuracy and speed.
Maintain and update system grids that map electrical poles, cable routes, and connectivity.
Input, validate, and audit data to ensure accuracy across multiple platforms.
Track changes, updates, and corrections to pole and cable records.
Excel & Reporting
Use advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, data cleanup) to organize and analyze operational data.
Generate reports, summaries, and data extracts for internal teams.
Identify data inconsistencies and resolve issues proactively.
Operational Support
Support engineering, field operations, and permitting teams with accurate pole and cable mapping information.
Assist with documentation, recordkeeping, and workflow tracking.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure data alignment and timely updates.
Mapping & Grid Work
Work within utility mapping systems to:
Plot electrical pole locations
Map cable paths and connections
Update grid layouts and asset relationships
Ensure all mapping reflects real‑world conditions and field updates.

Required
Experience working with high‑volume data in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data organization).
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfort working with mapping systems, grids, or spatial data.
Interest in understanding outdoor utility infrastructure (poles, cables, field assets). Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in utilities, telecom, engineering support, or infrastructure operations.
Familiarity with GIS, CAD, or asset‑mapping tools.
Experience with data auditing or quality control.
Ability to read basic maps, diagrams, or utility layouts.
