Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker – 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL location. Core hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate is $20.45, plus an additional $0.50 per hour shift differential.

What You’ll Do
The Production Worker is expected to work in all departments of the manufacturing plant – Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout – doing various manual labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding; the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments on a daily basis.

In This Function, You Will

Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards.

Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications.

Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport.

Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup.

Create barcodes and accurately label finished products.

Cut materials using a band saw while following all safety procedures.

Handle materials efficiently to support smooth workflow and production needs.

Qualifications

Must be able to frequently carry 10-34 pounds and occasionally carry 35-100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be able to carry a 100-pound ladder occasionally with assistance.

Must be able to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be able to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull, with or without reasonable accommodation.
