Facilities Maintenance Tech II
to work at our facilities within Stark County. The Facilities Maintenance Tech II ensures that CommQuest facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant to support uninterrupted client care and staff operations. This role performs intermediate-level maintenance, preventative services, and facility improvements while coordinating repairs and responding to urgent needs. The position plays a critical role in maintaining regulatory standards, operational continuity, and a safe healing environment across all agency locations.

What You’ll Do
Perform routine and intermediate-level maintenance and preventative services.
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Respond to after‑hours emergencies, weather‑related issues, and urgent facility needs.
Support renovation, upgrade, and special facility improvement projects.
Coordinate and monitor outside contractors for quality and safety compliance.
Ensure exterior areas remain safe, accessible, and well‑maintained year‑round.
Other duties as assigned
Schedule
The work schedule is primarily Dayshift, Monday - Friday. Must have availability to accommodate additional evening or weekend hours as needed and requested by the Supervisor or emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities maintenance, building trades, or related technical work.
Demonstrated experience performing basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC preventative maintenance, and general repair work.
Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets agency insurance requirements.
Availability for rotating on‑call shifts, some evenings and weekends required
Preferred
Technical certification or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related skilled trade.
Experience supporting regulatory compliance in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services environments.
Experience coordinating vendors or contractors.
