
Bulk Receiver 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Responsible for the receiving and cleaning of all bulk tankers, including moving tankers in and out of the receiving bay and cleaning other tanks, as well as general cleaning duties.
Shift and Compensation
Shift: Sunday 11:00am–7:30pm and Monday–Thursday 2:00pm–10:30pm
Weekly wage: $27.99
Pay range: $27.99 – $30.58 USD
Job Requirements
Become a qualified yard tractor driver and properly move tankers in and out of the receiving bays as needed
Maintain standards in a Grade A receiving bay as required by the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO)
Follow all receiving procedures for each product, including the proper verification and documentation of every load
Assemble and disassemble storage tanks and lines for CIP
Perform environmental cleaning activities including floors, walls, pipes, drains, and any other surface
Support local Food Defense programs by reporting any suspicious loads or activities to the quality assurance team and management
Provide support to mix operation
Produce a quality product that complies with all HP Hood, State and Federal guidelines
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and demonstrate safe work practices at all times
Follow GMP and SQF guidelines
Follow all company, state and federal guidelines in accordance with SOP’s and GMP standards
Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude
Other duties as assigned
General Requirements
Knowledge of yard tractor operation
Valid Driver’s License Required
CDL Experience preferred
Excellent driving stills with hand/foot/eye coordination and manual dexterity
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to work independently or within a group atmosphere
Good organizational and time‑management skills
Working Environment
Factory environment
Varying noise and heat levels
Responsibilities allow occasional opportunities for varying work routine
Physical Demands
Standing: 6–8 hours
Sitting: Occasionally for short periods
Walking: 6–8 hours
Climbing: Frequently
Bending: Frequently
Kneeling: Frequently
Twisting of wrists: Frequently
Twisting of spine: Occasionally
Lifting: Light (30 lbs occasionally)
Carrying: Light (30‑50 lbs) occasionally
Pushing/Pulling: Under 75 lbs occasionally
