Vishay Thin Film, located in Niagara Falls, NY, is seeking a 1st Shift Sorter Operator to support semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate sorting machines based on chip values.
Weigh and count chips according to work instructions; identify low‑yield alerts.
Perform secondary functions from other areas during downtime.
Record information in logbooks and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
High‑school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and understand production documents.
Strong multitasking skills.
Basic math knowledge.
Computer literacy.
Attention to detail.
Position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or Export Administration Regulations; must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Compensation
Pay range: $17–19 per hour.
