Lab Technician Job Duties include: Eyewear Assembly: Performing the technical processes of edging, blocking, and assembling lenses and frames to accurately meet prescription specifications. Quality Control (QC): Diligently conducting quality control checks on all finished eyewear before they are processed for patient pickup or shipment, ensuring prescription accuracy and aesthetic standards are met. Lab Maintenance: Routinely maintaining lab equipment (., edgers, blockers, and tools) and ensuring a clean, safe, and highly organized supplies area to maximize efficiency and longevity of equipment. Other duties as assigned Lab Technician Required Skills include: Optical Knowledge: Certification or knowledge of advanced optical terminology, lens materials, and frame types. Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot common issues with edging and blocking equipment. Mathematical Aptitude: Strong basic mathematical aptitude for interpreting and verifying complex prescription details. Lab Technician Requirements may include: Dexterity
