Job Location: Garland, TX (On‑site)
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Senior Warehouse Associate is a highly proficient operator responsible for executing warehouse operations across Direct‑to‑Consumer (D2C), Business‑to‑Business (B2B), and Southern Hobby Distribution (SHD). The role is cross‑trained across multiple workflows and serves as a critical resource during volume spikes, staffing gaps, and priority shifts. Senior Associates are expected to maintain high performance standards across functions, support team execution, and reinforce operational discipline on the warehouse floor.
Key Responsibilities
Execute picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks across D2C, B2B, and SHD workflows
Support a multi‑channel environment and may be reassigned based on daily operational priorities
Seamlessly shift between functions based on daily priorities and volume needs
Support high‑priority orders, backlog reduction, and peak periods
Operational Excellence
Maintain high standards for accuracy, productivity, and on‑time fulfillment across all areas
Use RF handheld equipment and WMS systems effectively
Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
Load and unload freight safely and efficiently as needed
Floor Leadership & Support
Act as a lead operator on the floor and may coordinate workflow in absence of a supervisor
Act as a go‑to resource for supervisors and peers during daily operations
Support onboarding and training of new associates
Reinforce SOPs and best practices through consistent execution
Help stabilize operations during disruptions or high‑volume periods
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
Identify operational issues (workflow, inventory, system) and take action or escalade appropriately
Provide practical input on process improvements
Help maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the warehouse
Safety & Compliance
Follow and reinforce safe working practices
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Qualifications
3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
Demonstrated ability to operate across multiple warehouse functions
Strong working knowledge of D2C, B2B, and/or distribution workflows
Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
High reliability, adaptability, and attention to detail
Success Profile
