Job Summary
The Admission Coordinator monitors throughput in crisis observation programs providing Title 36 services, manages the petitioning process—including processing, monitoring completeness and timeliness, assisting law enforcement, serving as telephone liaison with providers—and oversees the internal petition process, transfer of recipients to Level I facilities for Court‑Ordered Evaluations (COE) and amendments/revocations to Court‑Ordered Treatment (COT).
Responsibilities
Monitor throughput in crisis observation programs and ensure efficient policies and processes.
Own and manage the petitioning process: process documents, monitor completeness and timeliness, assist law enforcement, and liaise with internal and external providers.
Track petitions, capture necessary information, and generate reports.
Oversee transfer of recipients to Level I facilities related to COT and COE.
Skills and Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Care preferred.
3 or more years of administrative work experience desired.
1 or more years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Valid identification required.
Notary Public preferred.
