Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring 100% accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all production and inventory data within Oracle through direct, continuous presence on the production and warehouse floor. The Commissary Data Clerk acts as the primary owner of data execution in real time, partnering closely with production, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure all transactions, recipes, and inventory movements are properly captured and aligned with operational reality. This position also plays a key role in driving Oracle utilization, including training production teams, reinforcing compliance, and supporting process improvements to eliminate data gaps and inaccuracies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain full-time presence on the production and warehouse floor to capture and validate real-time data.

Ensure accurate and timely entry of all production transactions in Oracle, including Batch/recipe execution, Lot tracking, Yield reporting, WIP and finished goods movements

Validate that all data reflects actual production activity (no backdated or estimated entries).

Monitor and correct discrepancies between physical operations and system data.

Act as the primary point of accountability for Oracle data integrity within production.

Ensure 100% compliance with Oracle usage standards across all shifts and departments.

Review and resolve: Missing or incorrect lot numbers, Incomplete recipes, Incorrect yields or quantities, Timing and transaction errors, Audit daily transactions and elevate recurring issues.

Train production, prep, and warehouse teams on proper Oracle usage and data entry procedures.

Reinforce standard work to ensure consistency across all departments.

Support onboarding new employees on Oracle-related processes.

Drive adoption of best practices and reduce reliance on manual or delayed reporting.

Serve as a key liaison between Production, Warehouse, QA, IT, and Supply Chain.

Assist management coordinate activities amongst different departments, taking a leadership role to ensure deliverables are met.

Assist management build rapport and effective working relationships with production team, quality and control team, supply chain operations, warehouse and administrative departments.

Contribute to a service-oriented culture that maximizes organizational effectiveness.

Work closely with the Oracle system.

Meet daily deadlines within Oracle to ensure inventory and all other KPIs are accurate.

May serve on special project teams to provide professional insight and assistance on data insights regarding Oracle.

Take a “hands on” approach to data maintenance as directed.

Assist management in implementing controls to reduce data issues and improve data reporting.

Respond to any inquiries regarding data integrity issues within Oracle.

Review error logs and report findings of abnormalities.

Communicate with departmental leaders to acknowledge successes and solve problems.

Perform any other work-related duties as assigned.

Support for Production Manager & supervisors.

Requirements and Conditions
Education/Experience

High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum two years experience in a retail environment.

Minimum two years experience working in Data Integrity and/or Pricing is preferred.

Certificates / Licenses / Registrations
(None required).

Skills Required

Must be able to work with computers and be proficient in spreadsheet and database programs, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.

Must have strong communication and customer service skills; bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Must possess excellent planning and organizing skills.

Must feel comfortable working both within a team and independently.

Must be extremely detail-oriented.

Must be a self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting critical internal and external deadlines.

Be able to pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools or controls.

The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 50 pounds carrying boxes of records and forms and frequently exert or lift moderate amounts of weight.

Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Hourly Range: $20.25 - $22.8125
