Children's Center is hiring: Part-time Occupational Therapist in Augusta

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children and their families? Children's Center provides early intervention and family support services to children birth through 21 years old, and we are looking for a *part-time (would consider full-time for the right candidate) Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)* at our Augusta site to provide high-quality services to pre-school and school-aged children as part of an interdisciplinary team. The OT will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment of children with feeding, sensory motor, fine motor, adaptive skills, visual motor, and neurological difficulties. Supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant(s) (COTA) is also required.

Qualified candidates will have a Master’s of Science degree from an accredited occupational therapy program or from the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT). Must have current NBCOT certification and State of Maine occupational therapy license, or be eligible for Maine licensure. Experience working with children aged birth to five years with developmental, neurological, sensory integration, motor and feeding delays strongly preferred. Additional 3-month Level II pediatric affiliation or pediatric early intervention experience preferred.
