Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Hearing Instrument Specialist
at our Spring, TX location. The Hearing Instrument Specialist will perform hearing assessments, recommend appropriate hearing solutions, and assist in the fitting and maintenance of hearing aids. Additional responsibilities include training patients on device usage, providing excellent customer service, and educating patients on hearing healthcare. The role also involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in Audiology, including the ability to conduct and provide notes for hearing tests and audiometry
Proficiency in performing and evaluating Hearing Tests and Speech assessments
Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build trust with patients and address their needs effectively
State licensure or certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist or a relevant credential (or ability to obtain)
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with hearing aid technology and counseling patients on proper usage
