Position Summary
Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with the annual planning process, monthly forecasting efforts, and development of relationships with key business operators by providing strong financial guidance to ensure we meet and exceed our short and long‑term goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing financial inputs and trend analysis that directly play into business decisions that affect the future of the company. The candidate should be an incredible team player, love to be organized, live for developing strong relationships with the business, and have a knack for interpreting and translating complex financial information into meaningful and actionable reporting. This role will have frequent interaction with all levels of the Company, including the Director of Accounting and Finance and the CFO, as well as the Senior Leadership Team and Store Management, and must have experience producing executive reporting and analysis.
Duties And Responsibilities
Serve a key role in the annual planning process by preparing the budget for complex areas and assisting in the review of budget areas prepared by less experienced team members.
Prepare monthly forecasts in assigned areas and assist business leaders in how to use this forecast for business decisions.
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with corporate and operational leaders to continually “live in the business.”
Partner with the Accounting Team in the fast‑paced monthly close process, reviewing and analyzing store and account‑level variances to support accuracy and deep understanding.
Assist with the evaluation, selection, and implementation of systematic FP&A solutions.
Serve as a key resource in the evaluation and implementation of various enterprise‑wide strategies and develop meaningful and transparent tracking and reporting.
Support the business in various operational processes and analyses, including new store openings, capital forecasting and decisioning, and real estate review.
Assist in the creation of documentation for investor, BOD, and SLT presentations.
Mentor less experienced members of the team.
Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills Required
Education: Bachelors Degree with Finance or Accounting related concentration (such as Economics, Business) required.
Experience: At least 3 years in a relevant Finance or FP&A role preferred; a base of Accounting experience plus FP&A experience is ideal.
Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills. Candidates must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate cross‑functionally and through phone calls and e‑mails.
Analytical: Candidates must have strong statistical/analytical skills including data retrieval, organization, presentation, and summary skills.
Technology: Candidates with experience in SAP are desired but not required. Must be savvy in Microsoft Excel. Experience with FP&A software is a plus.
Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously – prioritize and complete requests in an efficient manner. Attention to detail is a must.
Cultural: Self‑directed; must be assertive and eager to contribute in an extremely fast‑paced organization; must live by the Company’s Core Values.
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
Monday – Friday onsite, based out of our Roswell, GA Store Support Center. Flexibility to work extended and varied hours as needed.
Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time as the job is completed primarily at a desk each day. Variable desk heights are offered so alternatively sitting and/or standing at the desk is optional.
