Position Summary
Practice patient service representative who proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments.
Position Requirements
Education and Previous Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
Hardware/Software Experience
Practice management/medical billing computer programs.
Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)
Other Characteristics
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken, and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections)
Flexible; able to adapt to change
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred.
