We are searching for an experienced CDL Metro Driver at our DDG 75-Mount Pleasant-TX facility. Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. This is an opportunity for a CDL Metro Driver at our manufacturing facility located in Mount Pleasant, TN.

Responsibilities
Class A or Class C license required, Class A preferred.
Equipment: Automatic Straight Truck or Day Cab pulling a 48 or 53 ft flatbed.
Local deliveries, home nights and weekends.
Deliver trailer and trailer products while operating a tractor-trailer truck, spanning several states to internal branches timely.
Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
Follow all applicable traffic laws.
Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.
Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
Keep a log of activities.
Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
Take rest periods during trip and take special precautions while driving.
Qualifications
Must be 21+ years of age
Valid Class A CDL Required.
1 year experience, including manual.
Proven working experience as a commercial truck driver.
Clean driving record - No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
