AKIRA – Cashier (Part-Time)
We are looking for a part‑time cashier to support our store operations and provide excellent customer service while keeping the environment welcoming.
Position Overview
As a cashier you will handle the point‑of‑sale system, manage fitting rooms, reorganize the floor and support the sales team. You will ensure the store stays clean, organized and enjoyable for customers.
Essential Functions
Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing during downtime.
Maintain tidy fitting rooms and process items after customers try on.
Assist with replenishing stock from shipments.
Support sales team by pulling merchandise for customers.
Complete any operational tasks required by the Manager.
Perform closing duties assigned by the Manager before clocking out.
Cash Register Duties
Deliver a fast, seamless checkout experience.
Collect and Enter loyalty program information for customers.
Suggest add‑ons and highlight merchandise.
Operate the cash register according to company policies.
Follow policies for payments, discounts, returns and current pricing.
Address customer questions professionally.
Share information on upcoming sales and events when relevant.
Maintain a clean, organized cash register area.

Strong multitasking skill with a sense of urgency.
Physical Requirements
Move product, supplies and boxes repetitively; lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand or walk for extended periods, including a 10‑12 hour shift.
