Join our Team as Digital ABG Digicon Operator!
The Digital ABG Digicon Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining our ABG Digicon machine, ensuring the precise and high‑quality finishing of custom labels for our clients. You will oversee key finishing processes, including laminating, foiling, varnishing, and die‑cutting, while performing machine setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in digital printing and finishing, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to producing high‑quality products that meet client specifications.
Responsibilities
Operate the ABG Digicon machine to perform finishing processes such as laminating, foiling, varnishing, die‑cutting, and embossing on printed labels.
Set up the Digicon machine according to job specifications, adjusting settings to ensure precise and high‑quality output.
Utilize the ERP system to track production/downtime of the machine.
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Perform quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure all labels meet customer specifications and company standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, material jams, or inconsistencies in label production.
Monitor production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
Collaborate with prepress, HP operators, quality teams, and production teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely project completion.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any adjustments made during the process.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification in printing technology or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the printing or packaging industry.

Problem‑Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions during the production process.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, communicating clearly with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and processes, adapting to changes in production demands and specifications.
