Summary

Responsibilities
Observes all safety requirements, including Personal Protective Equipment.
Daily performance of preventative maintenance on stacker equipment and identifying potential mechanical issues, keeping equipment in condition to effectively meet goals.
Inspects wood products during machining and upon completion.
Maintains equipment and work area cleanly and safely.
Recommends changes to improve processes and procedures, enhancing quality and productivity.
Collects production data as required and inspects own work.
Identifies opportunities for process, quality, and safety improvements.
Supports quality expectations, demonstrating an understanding of the impacts of quality on productivity.
Demonstrates understanding of stacker operations, including proper production levels, safety, and basic care.
Communicates effectively with employees at various organizational levels, including production, maintenance, supervisory and corporate staff, to report any issues that impact safety, quality, or production.
Ensures proper disposal of waste materials upon completion of job operations.
Sorts and arranges lumber, timbers, and finished goods according to sizes and grades to allow for easy identification.
Education and Experience
No prior experience or training required. High school diploma or GED preferred.
