Altfest Personal Wealth Management, a nationally recognized independent fee-only wealth management firm, is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our growing New York City team.
For more than 40 years, Altfest has delivered objective, fiduciary advice that aligns entirely with clients’ best interests. As a Senior Advisor, you will lead client relationships, provide comprehensive financial planning, and collaborate with a highly experienced team of professionals.
We operate on a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office, 3 days remote), balancing flexibility with meaningful collaboration.

What You’ll Do
Lead Client Relationships
Serve as the primary advisor and trusted partner for clients.
Deliver proactive guidance and build long-term relationships.
Deliver Comprehensive Financial Planning
Develop holistic financial plans covering investments, retirement planning, tax strategy, estate planning, risk management, and cash flow.
Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
Construct and oversee customized portfolios aligned with firm investment philosophy and client objectives.
Collaborate with the investment team on portfolio strategy and market insights.
Contribute to Firm Growth
Participate in firm initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
5+ years of wealth management experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Experience managing client relationships and delivering financial planning
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative
Deep commitment to fiduciary, client-first advice
Professionals transitioning from related fields (accounting, law, consulting, financial analysis, or other financial services roles) who are passionate about advising clients are encouraged to apply.
Base Salary
Starting at $120,000 (plus potential incentives), commensurate with experience.
Fully paid medical coverage (no in-network copays or deductibles)
