Professional Private Dental Practice located in Colorado Springs, in business since 1990, is looking to add a Registered Dental Hygienist for Wednesday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This position is a Part time position 2 to 3 days a week.
*Hygienist Duties include may not be limited to the following;*
* *SRP*
* Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations
* Sterilize dental instruments and tools
* Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
* Take digital X-rays of patients’ teeth
* Prophylaxis
* Perio Charting
* Charting Existing dental work
*Must have the following:*
* Anesthetic license in the State of Colorado
* Dental Hygienist in the State of Colorado
* Laser certified
* 3+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
* Current CPR certification required
* Dentrix knowledge helpful
Clinical Setting:
* General Dentistry
Typical end time:
* 5 PM
Typical start time:
* 7-8 AM
