
Battery Service Technician (Road Technician)

Carolina Industrial Products is seeking a full-time Battery Service Technician to repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field.
Position Overview
Together with a company vehicle, uniform, and service truck, technicians enjoy a competitive wage of $20–$24 per hour and generous benefits.
Responsibilities
As a Battery Service Technician, you travel into the field to service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers. You keep customers informed about the work being done, notify them of any additional costs, and communicate with team members to ensure expert service. You follow safety protocols and work independently, solving problems that keep customers’ fleets operational.
Qualifications
Mechanical/electrical aptitude
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and DOT physical
Electrical and forklift experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional critical thinking abilities, and the reliability to work independently.
Work Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm.
