Job Summary
The Thin Gauge Plastic Tray Production Operator off-loads plastic trays coming off the production line, counts and stacks them in boxes, labels the boxes, and stacks the boxes on pallets for warehousing and for shipping to customers.
Duties / Responsibilities
Off-load plastic trays coming off the production line
Count and stack the plastic trays
Place the stacks of plastic trays in boxes
Label the boxes
Stack boxes on pallets for warehousing and/or for shipping to customers.
Requirements
Arrive to work on time for every work day
Learn new physical and mental tasks
Work overtime, weekend, or holidays when necessary
Lift up to 25 pounds on a daily basis
Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
Perform physical and mental tasks quickly within a fast-paced production environment
Complete eye-hand coordination tasks on a daily basis
Accurately count plastic trays (parts) mentally and out-loud
Independently engage in Standard English written, audio, and visual safety training delivered via oral lecture, hard copy written information, online self-study modules with audio and visual components
Engage with written and oral tests/quizzes given in Standard English
Listen to and follow the safety and production instructions provided by supervisors and managers in Standard oral and written English
Understand oral Standard English and respond back orally using Standard English
Understand written Standard English and respond to written information and instructions without looking up words or by using translation assistance from people or from technology
Write in Standard English without looking up words or by using translation assistance from people or from technology
