Hyundai of Anderson is seeking a
detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk
to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and dealership paperwork.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and accountability.
Responsibilities
Process vehicle titles, registrations, and tag work accurately and timely manner
Submit title paperwork to the appropriate state agencies and track the status
Verify deal paperwork for completeness and compliance
Post deals and finalize documentation within the DMS (Tekion experience preferred)
Manage payoff processing and lien releases
Clear and reconcile tag and title schedules on a consistent basis
Reconcile schedules related to title and registration
Communicate with banks, customers, and internal departments as needed
Maintain organized records of all title transactions
Key Performance Indicators
Zero title errors or rejections
Timely processing of all deals
Accurate schedule reconciliation and clean schedules
Strong organization and documentation
Compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications
Automotive dealership experience REQUIRED
Title clerk or accounting office experience required
Familiarity with DMS systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Basic accounting knowledge preferred
Professional communication skills
