
Algebra Tutoring Support

Education Champion
In‑person tutors will provide small‑group Regents exam support. Tutors will work with students using school‑provided Regents preparation materials in a structured academic setting. All small‑group sessions must take place in an area of the school supervised by a licensed educator. The program runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
Provide one‑on‑one tutoring in Biology.
Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies.
Bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need.
Participate in monthly training sessions.
Qualifications
Degree‑seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
Available to work 10–35 hours per week at an assigned school.
Committed and flexible; willing to work within the program schedule.
Strong academic background and passion for learning, especially for underserved students.
Collaborative spirit; ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors.
Compensation
In‑Person Programs: $27/hr to $30/hr.
Opportunity to earn a program completion bonus of up to 10% of total program earnings.
