2nd Shift - Laser Operator

Responsibilities
The Laser Operator (Flat Laser) is responsible for safely executing laser cutting operations on various manufacturing products. This includes selecting appropriate cutting programs and fixtures, performing setup and maintenance, conducting dimensional inspections, and identifying defective materials. The operator also maintains a clean and safe work environment and performs additional production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of prior laser operation experience, and demonstrate attention to detail, self‑motivation, and leadership skills. Strong emphasis is placed on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, along with proficiency in reading blueprints, using precision measurement tools, and basic shop math.
Physical Demands
The role includes occasional standing, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and manipulating fine motor skills.
Schedule & Compensation
The work schedule typically entails a first shift from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays as necessary. Pay is based on experience, and the role requires good attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
