Rapidly growing, privately owned general dental office is seeking an enthusiastic *Dental Hygienist that understands the difference that a hygienist can bring to a dental practice. *We will welcome you as a *co-provider*, addressing and accessing the needs of our patients.

*Qualifications:*
* Valid state dental hygienist license
* Desire to work as a productive team member
* Provide exceptional customer service and patient care
* Ability to use dental tools and technology, including hand, power and ultrasonic tools
* New grads are encouraged to apply.
*Functions:*
* Perform periodontal evaluation, clean and polish, scaling and root planning for all patients and possibly take X-rays.
* Educate patients about oral health - ways to keep their teeth and gums healthy.
* Provide patient education on all aspects of oral hygiene and dental health
* Sustain patient comfort during procedures
* Manage clinical supplies
Highlights:
*Compassion:* Sometimes patients are in extreme pain or have fears about undergoing dental work, and the hygienist must be sensitive to their emotions.
*Detail Oriented:* Follow One Family Dental’s standard operating protocols to help dentist diagnose and treat a patient. Sometimes, may need to work without the direct supervision of a dentist.
*Interpersonal Skills:* Must work closely with dentists and patients and their support team.

Pay: $47.00 - $52.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
