Overview
The consultant will take over responsibilities from a former manager to oversee factory accounting and support the local team. This position requires a professional who can operate independently while mentoring junior staff.
Manage month-end closing and factory-specific reporting.
Oversee and review the work of the site "bidding team" (3 employees).
Perform revenue recognition using various methods for manufacturing.
Bridge data gaps between the current system and manual spreadsheets to provide actionable information.
Pass knowledge and mentorship to junior and mid-level accounting staff.
Qualifications
Must have a background equivalent to a Senior Cost Accountant
Manufacturing industry experience.
Expert-level Excel skills are mandatory ("living on Excel") to manage manual tracking and data consolidation across multiple departments.
Deep understanding of Standard Costing and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
System Experience: Hands-on experience with manufacturing ERPs is highly preferred.
